环境工程与可持续基础设施

The programme does not follow fixed tracks; students choose courses from seven competence profiles: Water Technology, Environmental Geology and Hydrogeology, Water and Wastewater Technology, Environmental Information Analysis and Management, Sustainable Infrastructure, Environmental Systems Analysis, and Sustainable Societies. Courses combine theory and practice, using GIS, models, and lab work. The programme ends with a degree project.

Courses cover water technology, environmental geotechnology, water and wastewater engineering, environmental management and information, sustainable infrastructure, environmental systems analysis and sustainable societies. Specific courses include Environmental Engineering, and courses within competence profiles such as Water Technology, Environmental Geology and Hydrogeology, etc.

Graduates are sought after in fields like climate adaptation planning, blue-green infrastructure, circular economy systems, nature-based solutions and ESG consulting. They can work in private and public sectors, including environmental consultancies, contractors, water and wastewater companies, or government agencies. Examples of employers: SWECO, Stockholm Vatten, WSP, Swedish EPA, Tyréns, Geosigma, COWI, Vattenfall, SIDA. Some graduates pursue doctoral studies.
